The Ministry of Divine Purpose Church was founded in November 2012 under the leadership of Pastor Mark R. Beach and First Lady Nevador D. Beach. They were called to begin hosting Prayer and Bible Study sessions in their living room on Wednesday nights in Nolanville, Texas. Some nights, as many as twelve people would gather.

A year later, after completing their studies at Sonship School of the First Born in Killeen, Texas, under the guidance of Bishop Nathaniel Holcomb and Pastor Valerie Holcomb, Pastor Beach and First Lady Beach spent time in prayer and fasting. They felt led by the Lord to establish their ministry in Temple, Texas.

In January 2014, they leased a building at the corner of 39th Street and West Avenue M in Temple. Of the twelve original members who had attended the prayer sessions in their home, five followed them to Temple. The church held its first service in January 2014, and by the end of that same year, God had blessed the ministry with many new members.

Under the leadership of Pastor Mark R. Beach and First Lady Nevador D. Beach, the Ministry of Divine Purpose Church now has several active auxiliaries. In October of the same year, after observing her faithful service, Pastor Beach and the church leadership recognized First Lady Nevador D. Beach's calling and officially named her Pastor Nevador D. Beach.
